Introduction to some philosophical ideas behind beauty, creativity, and their application in ministry and creative projects. Understanding of these ideas can help to build a solid foundation for projects and are a guide for the direction and goal. They can be applied to projects in various forms such as design, painting, interior decoration. Some of these applications will be given in the workshop as examples from Marion’s experiences.
Marion Breinhorst is currently studying a BFA/BA (Art History) degree at the University of Auckland. While pursuing a painting career, she is involved with the Life Teen youth group in her parish. Most of her work is in oil paints with an interest in exploring the aesthetic and conceptual side of of art and art history. She has worked on some digital designing and worked as an assistant curator at the Lake House Arts Centre.
